General Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to manage all aspects of range ball operations at the Bay Golf Course Practice range.

Essential Duties - Bay Range:

Demonstrates the Spirit of Aloha along with professional service to all guests.
Drives golf carts and range picker in a safe manner and in approved areas
Picks up range balls using the range picker
Picks up range balls off both putting greens and driving range decks
Cleans and washes range balls throughout the day after each pick
Empties trash receptacles and picks up trash as needed.
Checks and changes trash cans around public range and Golf Academy
Picks up range balls and broken tees off tee boxes
On Tuesdays, clean picks every ball off range and side hills
Refills ball picker cart with fuel every (Tuesday)
Keeps all signs on range clean (including back range)
Washes and cleans ball picker cart inside and out on a regular basis
Keeps ball washing room clean and organized
Maintains public range dividers, bag stands, and chairs daily
Breaks down (players range) and pick up rubbish off tee box
Fills up den caddies for (players range) with balls
Reports any equipment issues promptly.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
Performs other duties as required (I.E helps Guest Services if requested)

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, uses hands and arms to reach and grab, talks, or hears. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, or climbs ladders.

Regularly lifts 40 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 60 pounds in a safe and trained manner.

Specific vision capabilities required:
close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Environment/Noise:
Regularly works in hot, humid, windy, or wet conditions.

Occasionally works in areas with moving mechanical parts; may be exposed to fumes; airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Primarily works in outdoor weather conditions.

Certificates/Licenses:
Valid Hawaii Driver's License

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

Should have a basic knowledge golf.
