Summer Marketing Intern

Location: On-site at our headquarters in Valley Park, Missouri.

Duration: Mid-May to early August 10-12 weeks.

Hours: Approximately 20-30 hours per week.

Compensation: $15-$19 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Description:

St Louis Composting, producer of STA-Certified Compost, Mulch Products and Soil Blends, is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our growing team as a Summer Marketing Intern. This is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing while contributing to real-world projects.

Responsibilities:

Assist in creating and scheduling social media content across various platforms.

Assist in designing social media and email campaigns.

Help develop and implement email marketing campaigns.

Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Assist in writing marketing copy for various channels.

Support the marketing manager in executing strategic initiatives and campaigns.

Various other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with social media platforms and their analytics

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute

Duration and Hours:

The internship will run from May to early August, approximately 10-12 weeks. Interns will be expected to work between 20-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with flexibility based on availability and scheduling constraints.
