- Perform a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing fluoroscopic equipment and other radiographic technology under the guidance of physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety while maintaining sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
- Assist physicians in the administration of contrast media and other medications as required for interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures, assessing vital signs and responding promptly to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal procedural outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and quality control logs in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to enhance technical skills and stay abreast of advancements in interventional radiology.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
- California State Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with specific experience in interventional radiology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
