    Interventional Radiology Technologist
    Full-Time, Benefitted Position

    Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our esteemed team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in our interventional radiology department, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of medical technology and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing fluoroscopic equipment and other radiographic technology under the guidance of physicians during interventional procedures.
    • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety while maintaining sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
    • Assist physicians in the administration of contrast media and other medications as required for interventional procedures.
    • Monitor patients during procedures, assessing vital signs and responding promptly to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
    • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal procedural outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and quality control logs in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
    • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to enhance technical skills and stay abreast of advancements in interventional radiology.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
    • California State Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with specific experience in interventional radiology preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment, techniques, and safety protocols.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
