    Description
    South Florida based Electrical Contracting company is now hiring experienced Jr. Electrical Estimators in our Pompano Beach office.

    Some of your duties will include the following:

    • Attend pre-bid meetings and/or meet with customers to identify project scope.
    • Communicate with customers to define the project scope, address deficiencies, negotiatepricing and build relationships.
    • Read and interpret customer drawings.
    • Interpret and analyze contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications,and requirements for each project and prepare estimates and bid proposals.
    • Review material pricing provided by purchasing and suppliers, and adjusts estimatingdatabase and procedures accordingly.
    Build and maintain positive relationships with Key VendorsWhat you will need:

    • Experience with Accubid, Bluebeam and Commercial is a plus.
    • 2 years preferred experience in Electrical Construction.
    • Be able to effectively determine job take offs to accurately calculate job cost.
    • Good mathematical and analytical skills.
    • Be able to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines successfully.
