- Direct and oversee daily nursing functions on designated units.
- Provide resident care including assessments, planning, medications, and more.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other team members.
- Meet with residents and their families when needed.
- Review and transcribe physician orders accurately.
- Coordinate resident activities with other departments.
- Report any issues to supervisors.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be able to move around during the workday.
- Capable of reaching, bending, and stooping as required.
- Have adequate vision and hearing abilities.
- Able to push, pull, or move objects up to 100 pounds.
- Comfortable with standing and walking for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle the mental and emotional aspects of the role.

About the Position:
Summary of Duties:
- Provide necessary care to residents based on care plans and guidelines.
- Supervise nursing activities conducted by LPNs, MACs, and CNAs.
Essential Job Functions:
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from a nursing school and licensed as an RN in Alabama.
- Preferred one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Specific Requirements:
1. Hold a valid RN license in the state.
2. Maintain current CPR certification.
3. Possess computer skills and be willing to learn new software.
4. Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
