Responsibilities

  • Analyzes performance portfolio individual account performance develops appropriate action drive profitable growth based upon analysis.
  • Monitors risk selection renewal retention pricing decisions portfolio individual account level.
  • Reviews approves underwriting decisions staff ensures compliance legal requirements organizational business strategic objectives Provides recommendations leadership regarding underwriting strategy opportunity Measures manages underwriting processing quality Actively manages participates agency management May review complex escalated business make underwriting decisions using authority granted role company guidelines standards Determines priorities workflow service standards department Monitors manages performance measurements effectiveness departments service delivery process Effectively aligns organizational structure drive results Plans develops integrates territory sales plans achieve top bottom-line objectives Translates strategic business plans organizational direction Creates financial operational goals budget timelines meet company standards Directs associates provides performance management salary planning administration organizational planning hiring placement Drives sales strategies develop new business improve retention maintain profitability Meets regularly clients enhance relationships drive results Handles escalated customer service issues requests Provides input leadership regarding strategic business plans helps identify operational opportunities efficiency Consults agents brokers expertise educate identify opportunities Communicates strategic direction operational plans internal external partners Communicates policies procedures financial budgets result attainment objectives Ensures awareness corporate initiatives maintain effectiveness field Works partnership agencies expand program share amount shared surety account understands existing surety program place Develops maintains strong relationships key groups individuals within commercial lines market Develops effective internal external collaborative partnerships across all customers related functions claims marketing IT etc understand developments build support network resolve needs Works partnership fellow leaders manage training associate surety organization ensure high degree competency professionalism Coaches territory managers field underwriters actively pursuing surety opportunities agencies brokers develop grow profitable territory Performs Responsibilities As Assigned Reports AVP Surety Direct reports include surety territory managers field underwriters understanding reviews escalations approvals makes final decision.
