- Support and actively participate in the APQP process for new product launches.
- Lead problem-solving activities and continuous improvement efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and quality.
- Maintain compliance with all aspects of ISO/TS guidelines.
- Develop and maintain operator work instructions, Process FMEAs, and Control Plans for production lines.
- Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Select measurement instruments for use on the production floor and determine Gage R&R accuracy.
- Perform and track capability studies monthly.
- Support manufacturing efforts to eliminate scrap and track/report daily scrap information.
- Provide onsite support at customer/supplier sites to investigate and address concerns.
- Maintain 8D, ICA/PCA, and CI logs to resolve customer issues and prevent recurrence.
- Issue Quality Problem Notices (QPN) to suppliers and coordinate responses to quality issues.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of five years related experience in quality engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge in safety processes, Kaizen, 5S, APQP, ISO9001/TS16949, Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, and PPAP is preferred but not required.
