    Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

    A full-time, school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) position has become available for the full school year in theChalmette, Louisiana area. This is a contracted, full-time position helping students in grades K - 12th across multiple school sites.

    As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges that may be hindering their academic performance or social integration. Through the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans, you will enable students to participate fully in school activities and achieve their educational goals.

    Position Details:

    • 08/05/ /22/2025
    • Part-time / 15 hours a week
    • Caseload: Self-contained Autism & Intellectual Disabilities, elementary and high school sites
    • Pay Range: $40 - $55 per hour, depending on previous experience

    Requirements:

    • Must have an active OT Louisiana License
    • Must have Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
    • Must be licensed through the Louisiana Board
    • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required

    General Responsibilities:

    • Advise teachers on strategies and materials for students
    • Conduct evaluations based on students' ability and write goals for students' motor goals
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
