    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. The Database Administrator will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of databases. They will also be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.

    Responsibilities:

    Install, configure, and maintain database systems.

    Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements.

    Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols.

    Perform regular backups and upgrades to prevent data loss.

    Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.

    Handle data migration projects, including designing, writing, and overseeing scripts.

    Implement security measures for data integrity and accessibility.

    Provide support to database technicians and assist them in the resolution of complex issues related to database performance and capacity.

    Requirements:

    Proven experience as a Database Administrator, Database Coordinator, or similar role.

    Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications.

    Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL.

    Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.

    Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools.

    Familiarity with programming languages API.

    Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
