    Generally Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm, but some flexibility needed for early/late meetings

    Major Responsibilities:

  • Partners with senior Medical Group, market and area leaders to establish metrics and set performance goals.
  • Works closely with Finance and Decision Support to measure and evaluate current processes and applications to ensure financial performance and guide further optimization.
  • Provides direction and manages leadership team to support the integrated Medical Group and achieve targets and timelines.
  • Provides oversight and direction to the regional Medical Group and facilitates execution and support for the deployment of key standards and initiatives across the Medical Group.
  • Ensures alignment and coordination for Medical Group operational initiatives to successfully achieve effective fiscal management and strategic goals.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize existing work processes, information systems, as well as develops new systems and procedures, including validated best practices, to deploy across the enterprise, in order to take full advantage of all opportunities to improve growth, performance, and reach operational excellence.
  • Develops and administers policies and procedures to accomplish and support department-specific and organizational initiatives.
  • Provides updates and communicates key information to executive stakeholders to support alignment of initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Collaborates directly with leadership on new operational processes, systems, and growth opportunities.
  • Aligns initiatives with the organization's strategic goals and ensures initiatives, approaches, and models are in compliance with local, state and federal regulations as applicable.
  • Performs quality assurance, utilization review processes, institutes measures as well as develops and maintains accurate portfolios, to ensure required standards are met, and a high level of efficiency is achieved.
  • Monitors newly sustained operational activities throughout operations, and uses effective tools and techniques toward analyzing results, addressing opportunities and achieving maximum productivity.
  • Leads groups to achieve standardization and integration across the region to improve efficiency, financial outcomes, and human resources.
  • Oversees the design, implementation and ongoing management of programs initiated out of operations
  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
  • Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the organization's business.
  • Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.
  • Education Required:

  • Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Master's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field.
  • Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in healthcare operations or related area of healthcare that includes experiences in leading groups and implementing successful initiatives and business processes throughout an integrated health care system. Includes 3 years of management experience in in overseeing staff, budgets and multiple clinic functions.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills including strategic planning, project management, process improvement, problem solving, decision making, prioritization, delegation, team building, change management, customer service, and conflict resolution.
  • Extensive understanding of healthcare operations, philosophy, strategic vision, and goals to improve efficiencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in establishing excellent working relationships and strategic partnering with physicians, individual team members and teams at various levels and from various fields of expertise.
  • Ability to independently manage a varied workload of strategic initiatives with multiple priorities.
  • Strong financial analysis and management, long range planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong computer skills including experience in using computer applications in a medical practice setting.
  • Ability in managing processes and individuals without a direct reporting relationship, coordinating cross functional teams successfully and executing initiatives.
  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to operate all equipment essential to perform the job.
  • Exposed to weather and road hazards, as incumbent is required to travel to work-related meetings/activities.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
