    Description


    Insight Global is seeking an EH&S Specialist to join a manufacturing and renewable energy company located in East Hartford, CT.

    The ideal candidate would either recently graduated or have very little experience and is interested in an entry level position.

    They would spend 20% of their time at their desk writing reports and discussing safety practices. 20% would be involved with training new employees or employees that need additional safety training.

    The final 60% would be on the shop floor, evaluating safe practices in the manufacturing location, and assessing job hazards and work safety overall.

    Experience with Manufacturing, construction, R&D, or operations

    • Associates or Bachelors degree in a science field (Material Science, EHS, Chemistry, Biology, environmental Science, ETC.)
    • 05 years of experience in the EH&S field
    • Understanding of industry standards
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross functionally with other team members
