DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support safety, environmental, security and facilities maintenance systems in the Louisville plant. The following specific activities will be included:

Safety/Fire Protection

• Conduct/manage fire protection system inspections including monthly valve inspections, weekly fire pump testing, quarterly flow tests, semiannual alarm testing.
• Conduct or facilitate inspections of emergency response equipment; annual SCBA flow tests; plant fall protection devices.
• Assist in HazMat technician and Confined Space Rescuer training course development and implementation.

Security

• Manage access control system: serve as liaison with Lubrizol Corp Security IT, troubleshooting, repair, access badge control, etc.
• Day to day interaction with Site Security Supervisor (contractor) and Security Officers; Site Security Plan implementation; necessary training including quarterly specific 4-hour training.
• Manage facility security surveillance systems (perimeter and internal Plant)

General

• Conduct drills with Security personnel for HazMat response and security incident response.
• Manage plant wide two-way radio system.
• Manage locker assignments and contract uniform services.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with individuals at all plant organizational levels.
