    Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Housekeeper (On-call/ PRN, every other weekend) to support our Environmental Services Department. The Housekeeper is responsible for working in accordance with established policies and procedures and/or specific instructions from the Director of Environmental Services or Housekeeping Supervisor. Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the residential units and common areas to ascertain a safe environment.

    Essential Functions:

    Ensure that the attainment of Ginger Cove Mission Statement takes precedence over all decisions and actions.

    Perform general housekeeping duties in the apartments, such as, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.

    Perform general housekeeping duties of hall ways, lobbies, and core areas.

    Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.

    Participate in all drills and in-service meetings.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications:

    High School Diploma/GED required.

    Must have a valid driver's license for the state of Maryland

    At least one years housekeeping/ environmental services experience is preferred.

    Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.

    Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe.

    Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly, and tact in dealing with others.
