    Description

    Job Summary

    The Portfolio Analyst role is responsible for monitoring the performance of borrowers, identifying deviations from expected performance, and raising credit concerns to the portfolio team. The Portfolio Analyst should strive to understand the client's operating performance and needs, and work to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.

    Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial analysis of credit and collateral of borrowers, with an emphasis on data collection and analysis.
  • Validate borrower compliance based on the Loan & Security Agreement.
  • Perform financial, operational, valuation, and transactional analyses.
  • Assist in underwriting modifications or renewals for borrowers, and help present deals to credit committee.
  • Complete borrower risk assessments.
  • Maintain data integrity in internal bank systems related to financials or other key information.
  • Produce internal deliverables.
  • Collaborate with management teams of portfolio companies to understand performance and financial needs.
  • Travel to client sites.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
  • 1-2 years related experience or public accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Preferred: Master's degree or higher
  • Ability to analyze financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements)
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness necessary to complete in-depth industry and market analyses
  • Strong interpersonal, writing and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting directly with clients
  • Above average knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • "Self-Starter"
  • Candidate must have great attention to detail
  • Salary Range: $49, ,620.00 USD; Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with geographic/market data.
