    Job Description:



    The Hotel Engineer Two contributes technical expertise to maintain and repair all hotel systems, equipment, and physical attributes.



    Core Responsibilities:
    • Respond promptly to all service calls, aiming to arrive within thirty minutes of receiving the call.
    • Identify defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, and take immediate corrective action if related to guests' needs or of high priority, ensuring the completion within two days and documenting the same on the work order form.
    • Adhere to departmental procedures when executing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation tasks efficiently.
    • Ensure compliance with the latest local, county, state, and federal codes, laws, and regulations.
    • Collaborate with colleagues from other departments, such as electricians, carpenters, painters, and night engineers, to finalize service, replacement, alteration, and installation assignments.
    • Support in training new department members and associates on equipment and daily hotel operations.
    • Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Maintain pools, filters, and pumps diligently on a daily basis.
    • Adjust televisions and program Spectra dyne boxes effectively.
    • Engage in painting, staining, or repairing interior and exterior finishes meticulously.
    • Replace light bulbs and ballasts promptly upon reporting or observation.
    • Record temperature and pressure readings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
    • Proficiently install and repair carpets, ensuring immediate attention to all safety risks.
    • Comprehend and uphold all fire safety equipment operations, triggering emergency protocols when necessary.
    • Prioritize responses to HVAC or room calls.
    • Create precise logs, charts, and preventive maintenance forms.
