Job Description

Olsson specializes in providing engineering services for various facilities including data centers, commercial developments, hospitals, and more. We focus on MEP design services such as HVAC, plumbing, power distribution, and lighting.

We are looking for a candidate with expertise in CFD modeling for data centers or similar environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing Olsson's CFD capabilities and supporting various engineering functions. Experience in both exterior and interior modeling for data centers is essential, with a willingness to provide occasional support across other industries served by Olsson.

The responsibilities of this role include model setup, troubleshooting, and presenting CFD results in reports and presentations under the guidance of senior engineering staff. Strong communication skills are vital as the candidate will interact with clients and participate in collaborative discussions to deliver effective solutions.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of data center equipment and systems, expertise in wind rose analysis, and familiarity with psychrometrics principles. Flexibility, timely problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients are crucial aspects of this position.

*Olsson is currently seeking a CFD Lead to join our Data Center MEP team in Dallas/Fort Worth, Omaha, North Kansas, Phoenix, Tulsa, or Oklahoma City. This position offers remote work opportunities throughout the United States.
