- Animal Care and Handling: Assist in caring for and handling dogs, cats, and other small animals.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of animal enclosures, examination rooms, treatment area, surgery/dental suites, and other common areas.
- Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians: Support our veterinarians and technicians with their daily tasks, which include but are not limited to restraining animals for examinations, preparing examination rooms, assisting with basic procedures, and preparing and breaking down the surgical/dental suite.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about animals and interested in starting a career in veterinary medicine.
No prior experience in the field is required, as Onion River Animal Hospital will provide training and guidance to help you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:
Supply Management:
Help stocking and organizing veterinary supplies, medications, and equipment. Learn to set up and clean basic equipment under supervision.
