    Position Title - Compensation Director - North America

    Location - Eastern United States (Eastern Time Zone)

    Reporting to the VP Total Rewards and functionally to the HR VP North America, this role is responsible for building and maintaining a trusted advisory relationship with senior leaders, people managers and HR Team across the region driving operational aspects and local improvements of the Total Rewards function for the region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Compensation:
      • Preparation and rollout of the annual merit and bonus campaign (audit, coordination with local HR Partners and Managers, testing of the HRIS enhancements, technical and functional user support).
      • Administer regional grading and salary range structures in line with the Quadient global.
      • Conduct external/internal benchmark to support local HR teams.
      • Research and analyze compensation-related trends/developments, and participate in compensation surveys.
      • Ensure Quadient compliance at Regional level for any compensation related matter, recommend corrective actions and take the lead of related projects.
      • Actively support various projects related to Total Rewards leading regional implementation.
      • Regularly consults with Group and regional leaders on organizational design, the application of rewards, evaluation of pay equity, and as-needed consults with leaders on the interaction of legal or compliance matters related to total rewards.
      • Actively contributes to strengthening communication between the business and employees related to compensation and rewards.
    • HRIS (Workday):
      • Audit of the data quality (salary, variable, job referential data) and process necessary corrections.
      • Guide local HR teams to foster a better adoption and understanding of the compensation elements stored in the HRIS.
      • Export reports and analyze data (pay equity, pay gaps, merit increase, bonus payout, etc.).
    • Teamwork and coaching
      • As member of the Global Total Reward Team, actively participate to Quadient Total Reward activities and projects.
      • As member of the NORAM People & Transformation team, ensure active partnership and coaching of local HR team members to ensure their development and empowerment about Compensation related matters; this includes a deep collaboration with NORAM team dedicated to benefits management and administration; in coordination with the Regional HR team, play a role of expert and trusted advisor towards regional management and all employees.
      • As member of the global Quadient CPTO Team, ensure EPIC driven collaboration to initiatives and projects (EPIC stands for Empowerment, Passion, Inspiration, Community).

    Experience and Skills Required

    • Master's degree in HR Management, Finance, Business Administration.
    • Minimum 7 and ideally 10+ years of compensation and benefits experience including valuable senior C&B position in a mid-size to large organization; preferred experience in publicly traded SaaS technology company.
    • Proven successful experience in North American compensation aspects including exposure to international/global working environment.
    • Proven knowledge of Workday, both technical understanding and ability to support users.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills.
    • Strong understanding of the FLSA, ACA, compliance, and other relevant People-related policies and laws is desirable, with a demonstrated ability to research and understand compliance is a must.
    • Solid experience with mergers and acquisitions from due diligence to integration.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills coupled with the ability to coach and influence others.
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, but also very willing and able to be "hands-on."
    • Excellent self-awareness, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement; ability to instill that same level of motivation in the team.
    • Ability to partner with the NORAM HR leadership.
    • Able to work in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
    • Able to direct multiple priorities simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and obstacles.
    • Analytical, resourceful, detail oriented and meticulous.

    This position has a salary range of:

    $127, $191,400.00

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share these targets on all job postings. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise. As such, they may vary from the ranges listed. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus.
