    We are seeking a Sr. Wireless Engineer in support of a critical Law Enforcement customer in Quantico, VA. The work will involve working on a large, complex, and classified network infrastructure. An ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI is required. All work is done 100% onsite in Quantico, VA at a secured facility.

    Responsibilities

    The Sr. Wireless Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, installing, modifying, and testing networks, application programs, and/or computer-based systems. Translate systems/subsystems designs and detailed designs into fully functioning and architecturally compliant networks, applications, or computer-based systems.


    This position requires the candidate to have knowledge of servers, workstations, and other programmable systems such as controllers and handheld devices.

    The Sr. Wireless Engineer will provide advice on differing networking implementations and designs. The candidate will also provide problem resolution, compliance testing, and design recommendations.

    The Sr. Wireless Engineer must have hands-on experience with internetworking equipment including configuration, installation, and/or troubleshooting. The candidate will work with senior technical and user staff in a consultative role on their projects. The candidate will aid and provide guidance to less experienced contractor technical staff. This position will provide senior-level leadership to the project in all areas of technical implementation.

    Requirements

    Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 6+ years of experience
    6+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing wireless solutions
    Experience with various WLAN topologies, including indoor, outdoor, high-density, campus, mesh, remote, and industrial
    Experience with WLAN survey tools to perform Active, Passive, and AP on a Stick surveys
    Experience with Spectrum Analyzer tools
    Experience with AAA and identity-based access solutions for WLAN deployments Experience with wireless intrusion detection and prevention systems, including WIDS and WIPS
    Understanding of Cisco switching and ability to troubleshoot basic AP connectivity issues
    Ability to troubleshoot wireless client devices
    Ability to perform monitoring of various WLAN technologies and topologies
    Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, with good communication (written and oral) and coordination skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    CCNP or CCIE Certification
    Experience working on an Enterprise Network
