Position Description

We are looking for a full time staff accountant to add to our team. This person will help in the tax area of the practice working on both corporate and individual tax clients.

Duties Include

Preparing quarterly corporate estimated tax calculations and partnership pass through entity tax calculations.
Preparing quarterly individual estimated tax calculations.
Preparation of corporation and individual income tax returns.
Tax research relating to new or updated tax laws and application to various clients.
Manage client return due dates/schedule work assignments.
Review of staff prepared work/provide assistance & training.

Skills And Job Requirements

Bachelor's in accounting.
3-7 years' experience in the tax area.
Experience with Partnership, C-Corp, and S-Corp tax preparation.
Familiarity with basis calculations, SALT, application of IRC 263A, 481(A), and 199A.
CPA designation aspirations, or CPA license.
Fluent with ProSystems fx Tax a plus.
Fluent with Microsoft Office suite (excel, word, etc.).
Fluent in Adobe Acrobat and able to work in paperless environment.
Highly organized and effective time management.
Strong communication skills and ability to provide/receive constructive feedback.
