    Sr. Product Manager - F5 Hardware

    Key Objectives:

    • Produce product requirements and business cases for new or evolving BIG-IP hardware products.
    • Define data-driven decision principles, guidelines, and standards for building physical products.
    • Drive all processes in the hardware product lifecycle.
    • Maintain stewardship of the hardware roadmap for multiple product families.
    • Support management of the hardware investment budget tracking and prioritizing investments.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing operations on forecasting customer demand, managing lead times, quality control, and inventory management.
    • Work closely with supply chain management on reducing product costs, managing parts obsolescence, following component supplier roadmaps, and identifying supply chain risks.
    • Collaborate with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in product development, QA, and release.
    • Prioritize geographic homologation certifications for new products.

    Requirements:

    • A strong understanding of networking technology, environments, and high-level software architecture used in networking devices deployed in data centers.
    • A proven track record of turning ideas into launched products, building cross-functional teams, and fostering success.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams prioritizing key deliverables while ensuring quality, compliance, and performance standards are met.
    • Ability to partner with PM Leadership to define and maintain a PM strategy and process for roadmap alignment.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience working with networking and/or security technology.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in product management.
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
    • Experience in hardware design, supply chain management, or manufacturing is a plus.
