Risk Forecasting and Modeling AnalystBoston, United States of America
The Risk Forecasting and Modeling Analyst (Sr. Analyst, Analytics) is primarily responsible for risk-based data mining and analysis within their designated business area.
Support the team to meet the requirements for regulatory stress-testing, strategic planning and business-as-usual risk management
Research and develop statistical techniques to derive insights on risk trends and drivers
Communicates results of work and recommendations for improvements or enhancements effectively to the supervisor
Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and convert data into meaningful business intelligence to enhance decisions
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Statistics or equivalent quantitative field preferred.
Work Experience: 3+ Years as a Risk Analyst or in Risk Management in Banking or financial services
Strong coding skills preferably with a working knowledge of SAS and SQL
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of data analysis, data presentation, and data development.
Strong knowledge and practical experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets.
Ability to focus on details to ensure and maintain data accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong project management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
