    Job Description Summary:
    Responsible for operating and improving Salesforce solutions and associated
    tools to enable end users throughout Austin Community College (ACC) end
    users. The Manager, Salesforce will drive Salesforce delivery and support
    and will manage projects, interact with management and other ACC
    stakeholders that promote performance, scalability and security.

    Job Description:

    Description of Duties and Tasks

    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Supervises, trains, coaches, directs, coordinates, and disciplines personnel while adhering to organizational human resource policies and

    procedures as well as related employment laws. Recommends hire and termination personnel actions for positions supervised.
    2. Manages and leads the Salesforce development team.
    3. Collaborates with technology partners to implement and deploy solutions
    that include other platforms like AWS.
    4. Works with management and stakeholders to define requirements, design
    and create new processes roadmap and schedule.
    5. Manages third party apps on the Salesforce platform, including
    evaluations of effectiveness and cost/benefit.
    6. Designs and implements new features; integrates and manages external
    applications as necessary.
    7. Resolves technical problems with development team.
    8. Provides guidance to ensure assigned projects are implemented to
    schedule and plan.
    9. Creates and maintains declarative configuration including workflows and
    approval processes.
    10. Coordinates with and advises developers on data quality and
    developing automation.
    11. Communicates with all levels of IT and keeps management apprised
    of issues and concerns.
    12. Monitors industry trends and best practices and recommends to
    Applications Development Director changes to practices that may benefit
    the college policies and procedures.
    13. Works closely with stakeholders throughout the College to understand
    needs and help solve problems.

    Knowledge
    • Must possess required knowledge and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the

    • Understanding of the Salesforce MetaData API and Salesforce release management techniques.
    • Supervisory principles, practices, and methods.
    • Analysis, planning, and verification procedures for computer applications.
    Computer programming languages.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce architecture and administrative processes.
    • Proven track record in developing high quality user experience and implementing technology platforms.
    • Understanding of Salesforce processes, software development processes, including agile methodologies, and data management strategy and tools.

    Required Work Experience
    • Three years related work experience including one year supervisory experience.
    • Completion of the ACC Supervisor Certificate Series Program will satisfy the supervisory experience required for this position.
    Preferred Work Experience
    • Five or more years related work experience.
    • Relevant experience in a similar roles in Salesforce management.
    • Experience in Salesforce framework.
    • Salesforce Admin experience: email-to-Case; Process Automation; Flows; Reports; Dashboards; object maintenance. We primarily use Sales
    • features, along with Communities, Salesforce CPQ, Conga, ZoomInfo.
    • Proven success managing programs/projects that deliver success outcomes at scale.
    • Experience working with big data, gathering requirements and implementing data migrations, data maintenance routines, and system
    • integrations.
    • Experience with data management - structured and unstructured DBs, and SQL
    Required Education
    • Bachelor's degree.
    Preferred Education
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, computer science or related field.
    Special Requirements

    Licenses/Certifications; Other
    • Certified Salesforce Administrator.
    • Salesforce Developer (DEV 401) and/or Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM301) certification preferred.
    • Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel in the Austin area as required.
    Salary Range

    $79,182 - $113,117
