    Conducts research, organizes data, performs documentation, and prepares reports on industry insights. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop strategies utilizing research data for improving facility operations.


    Your EverydayGENERAL DUTIESQuality:
    Investigates key business problems through quantitative analysis of utilization and cost data.
    Provides physicians with informational reports specific to their individual practice patterns and goals.


    Financial:
    Reviews, analyzes and validates cost data to determine appropriateness for loading in business warehouse.
    Prepares proformas as requested by hospital administration.
    Performs feasibility studies and recommends alternative services to administration that will have positive impact on the the financial performance.


    Service:
    Assists the organization in designing service line analytics framework.

    Serves as a resource for users of clinical outcomes data and provide training to existing and new staff members as necessary.


    Growth:
    Works with vendors to assist with implementation of clinical/financial monitoring systems.
    Seeks opportunities to refine the statistical and financial reporting information to provide more meaningful data to directors and administration.

    Stays abreast of hospital operational changes that impact the budget and financial planning department and proactively acts to ensure that processes are developed and implemented to account for the changes.


    The Must-HavesMinimum:
    EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS2 years of experience in progressive healthcare finance related field is required.
    Experience in hospital financial operations, clinical systems, decision support, feasibility analysis, and reimbursement preferred.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldSKILLS AND ABILITIESMust have excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.10 Key by touch.

    Must demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision under strict deadlines.

    Must be able to act professionally with all levels of hospital administration and hospital staff, physicians, and others as necessary.

    Must be able to communicate both orally and in written format in a professional, clear and concise manner.
    Must possess exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
    Must possess aptitude to learn Hospital Systems quickly.
