    100% REMOTE BUT MUST BE LOCATED IN THE DALLAS / SOUTHLAKE TEXAS AREA OR WILLING TO COMMUTE OR RELOCATE TO THIS AREA

    Title     : Sr. .NET Core Lead Engineer
    Location: Remote But Must be in the Dallas, Texas / DFW area (occasional face time and meetings with the team)
    Terms: Full Time / Direct Hire
    Salary: 130K - 140K Plus 10-15K Bonus and Benefits (some flex here depending on talent)
    Reports To : CTO / Head of IT Operations
    Direct Reports: 0 for now , building out a team

    Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sr. .NET Engineer . The successful candidate will be one of the founding engineers on the newly created US based engineering team. You will be the key software engineer to continue improvements and functionality in both web and mobile based software application solutions in the insuretech space. You will work closely with other departments to develop and implement strategies that support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

    This will be 100% Hands on Software Engineering. Management and/or Team Lead responsibilities will come down the road as the team is eventually built out and scales

    Required Experience
    • C#, .NET Core, Entity, Angular, React, JavaScript, Visual Studio, MySQL, SQL Management Server
    • 5 + years of software development engineering experience
    • Agile / Scrum / Extreme development experience
    Preferred
    • Experience mentoring or leading junior developers
    • Agile / SCRUM certifications desirable
    • Insurance Platforms / Applications experience desirable - InsurTech background helpful
    • Startup oriented / minded - loves to build teams from scratch
    Technical Skills & Knowledge
    • Microsoft: ASP.NET/VB.NET/C#/.NET Core/Web APIs
    • Frameworks: .NET, AngularJS, jQuery, React
    • Web: HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, NodeJS, Bootstrap
    • Databases: SQL Server, MySQL, Stored Procedure Development, Performance Tuning
    • ORM: Entity Framework / NHibernate
    • Other: Mobile Development, SOA, Enterprise Service Bus, Application scalability
    • DevOps : Docker / Containers / Kubernetes experience desired
    • Mobile: .NET, IOS and Android Framework development techniques
    • Experience in building and consuming RESTful service implementation and Service Oriented Architecture
    • Extensive experience in design and implementation of SaaS and Mobile based software applications and multi-tier distributed platforms. Hands-on Experience working in a multi-tenant cloud environment.
    • Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Unified Modeling Language (UML), stateless distributed architectures, and designing for scalability and performance.
    • Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent; designing architecture plans / patterns, employing solid principals and
    • Strong Agile software development leadership; continuous integration or even more advanced continuous delivery concepts including test automation strategies not only on functional level but also on the typical "-ability" requirements like usability, stability, scalability and performance.
    • Deep understanding of enterprise / cloud platform and mobile application designs
    • Excellent people and verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with internal/external partners at all levels.
    • A great problem solver with ability to multitask and prioritize multiple incoming requests.
