    The position provides expertise regarding ongoing compliance, develops, and maintains internal relationships and external relationships (wholesalers, contract pharmacies, and third-party administrator [TPA] vendors) as needed, and actively engages with senior leadership and participates in decision-making processes related to the implementation of new 340B processes.

    The position will ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, maintain contracts, and coordinate internal and external audit practices.

    Essential FunctionsServes as the covered entity's compliance expert on 340B Program details, policies, and procedures.
    Acts as the liaison with necessary affiliated departments to ensure 340B Program integrity.
    Leads the organization's 340B committee, which includes members from senior leadership, pharmacy, compliance, legal, and finance.
    Develops and maintains internal relationships (accounting, legal, national) and external relationships (wholesalers, manufacturers, contract pharmacies, etc.) as needed.

    Actively engages with senior leadership and participates in decision-making processes related to the implementation of new 340B.Ensures that policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and maintained according to organizational, regional, national, state, and federal requirements and guidelines and are approved by senior leadership.

    Monitors and assesses 340B guidance and/or rule changes, including, but not limited to HRSA/OPA rules and Medicaid changes. Attends regular 340B trainings and shares lessons and hot topics with staff.
    Ensures that the 340B program is continuously compliant with 340B federal regulations.
    Responsible for the day-to-day management, compliance review, and operations of clinic-administered medications in eligible locations.

    Responsible for ensuring that the annual HRSA recertification is completed within the allowable period, that the listing is always accurate and monitors regularly to ensure pharmacy sites are added and discontinued accordingly.

    Develops, executes, and documents self-audits of the 340B program, including claims, contract pharmacies, and manufacturer invoices.
    Coordinates and ensures remediation of findings in collaboration with leadership.
    Serves as the point person and coordinator for all external audits.
    Coordinates all requests and responses.

    Works with leadership to review new 340B pharmacy contractsMonitors purchasing records for each 340B participant; clearly documents utilization, savings, problem areas, and exceptions or discrepancies.

    Relays results to leadership.

    In collaboration with leadership, coordinates monthly financial reporting and analysis, including, but not limited to, metric reporting, scorecards, and variance analysis and reportingRoutinely monitors monthly and annual reports on 340B participation that clearly document utilization, savings, problem areas, and exceptions or discrepancies, to be passed on to leadership and administration.

    Works with informatics teams to ensure that the organization's clinical information system is coordinated and integrated into the work with the 340B Program.

    This shall include the electronic interfaces between the EMR and any interfaces between the organization and contract pharmacy providers and/or administrators.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor's degree in healthcare or finance or EquivalentMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in related fieldPreferred Qualifications Experience in 340B Program administration, audit, healthcare, pharmacypurchasing, or healthcare inventory management.

    Demonstrated ability to carefully set priorities, meet deadlines, and schedule timeefficientlyMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in PC use andmainstream software applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, or comparable MACapplications.)Ability to follow-up and follow-through with strong attention to detail.

    High level of ability to work both independently and as part of a teamMust have ability to learn and apply knowledge of all pertinent federal, state, and localregulationsAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
