$72,000-$86,000 / year

Location:
Pentagon, Arlington, VA, National Capital Region (NCR) - ONSITE

Critical Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or 5 or more years direct relevant experience.
• Favorably adjudicated Tier 5 investigation and Active Top Secret clearance.
• DODI 8570.1M IAT Level 2 certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and maintain computer equipment and related devices such as desktops and laptops for a DOD organization's staff. Installs, configures, diagnoses, rectifies, and upgrades computer hardware and peripheral devices. Receives and responds to incoming calls and e-mails regarding complex computer hardware problems. Monitors computer performance and documents instances of hardware failure, repair, and replacement installation.

Aids in the development of strategies for meeting future computer hardware needs and supports the implementation of new hardware installations.

May troubleshoot associated end-user software and networked software products.
