    Job DescriptionFintube Operator Night Shift See more jobsShareApply NOWFintube Operator Night ShiftResponsibilities:Mount pans then, aligns, and secures pan in machine. Verify dimensions of finned tubes for conformance to specifications using gauges, calipers, and ruler. Stop machine to change setup according to required machining sequence or to measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications; perform oil level checks and clean machine, tooling, and parts. Perform some machine maintenance. Mount finning strips rolls into fin strip machine using overhead crane. Supervise employees within the field service department. Directing employees' work; setting and adjusting hours of work of employees; providing for the safety of the employees; planning the work; determining the techniques to be used; apportioning the work among the workers. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Must demonstrate and exhibit professional qualities when speaking with employees, whether in a one-on-one scenario or a group setting. Responsibilities will include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Requirements:
    1. Ability to set-up and operate finning machines to wrap on or embedded fin strip material on tubes to construct fintubes by reading blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and finning methods and sequences.
    2. Ability to calculate and sets machine controls in relationship to work piece and regulate factors such speed, feed, and coolant flow; start machine and observe and listens to machine operation to detect malfunctions.
    3. Ability to feed tubes into the machine and connect other tubes with tube connectors to continue the finning process; adjusts machine feed and speed to fin tubes according to specifications.
    Qualifications:
    1. Operator needs to have at least 5 experience running a McElroy finning machine
    Hours:Ideal hours are 5 PM – 1:30 AM , Overtime may change the hours depending on production Pay:$22-$24/HR Depending on Experience
