    Job Description


    The Lead Systems Engineer will help define, and drive systems engineering strategy across Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) solutions and System of Systems.

    You'll work with a cross-functional team to deliver world leading, cutting edge Patient Monitoring solutions.

    You Are Responsible For

    Coordinate the modeling and analysis of complex System of Systems to define system level requirements.
    Help to define architecture in coordination with System Architects for design for deploy ability/reliability/performance/supportability/testability with Product Marketing and Development
    Be the voice of Systems Engineering team in different projects, as well as with management and global Systems Engineering organization
    Customizes and propagates the overall system engineering strategy for the organization
    Maintain system engineering backlog
    Advise the development and test project leads and experts on the overall system engineering strategy

    You Are Part Of

    The Systems Engineering team. This team is responsible for providing systems engineering capacities to development projects involving complex distributed healthcare solutions. Those solutions involve distributed hybrid-cloud software, wireless and wired networks, patient monitors and more.

    To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following:

    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Masters degree preferred) in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant equivalent technical experience
    5+ years of experience in systems architecture / systems engineering
    Very strong analytical skills, proven ability to understand dependencies within a complex system & break it down in smaller tasks & plan
    Strong communication skills and experience in creating alignment between broad varieties of stakeholders (internal and external).
    Strong influential leadership skills
    Affinity to medical device standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 62304)
    In-depth knowledge of SW development (including enterprise level SW)
    Experience in the fields of Cloud computing / networking / security (e.g., CISSP, CISA)
    Experience in systems modelling and model-based systems engineering is a plus
    Strong technical skills in IT/Network Engineering is a plus
