    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to oversee essential aspects of HR operations and foster a positive work environment aligned with organizational objectives. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to management, offering expert guidance on HR matters and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor the HR Services team, fostering professional development and effectiveness.
    • Delegate tasks to leverage team members' strengths and achieve departmental goals.
    • Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and accountability.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for team growth.
    • Manage workload distribution and resource allocation to optimize productivity.
    Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop strategies aligning with organizational goals.
    • Assess HR needs and develop effective plans to address them.
    • Partner with managers to support organizational needs and understand goals.
    Employee Relations:
    • Act as a point of contact for employee relations, guiding managers and teammates.
    • Mediate conflicts and disputes, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
    • Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
    Performance Management:
    • Develop and administer performance management systems to evaluate and improve teammate performance.
    • Provide training and coaching to managers on performance management best practices.
    • Coordinate annual performance appraisals and goal-setting sessions.
    Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and develop programs to address them.
    • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for teammates.
    • Monitor training program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
    Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
    • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
    • Cultivate relationships with recruitment sources and universities.
    • Implement effective onboarding programs for new hires.
    Compliance and Legal:
    • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
    • Develop HR policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
    • Handle HR-related investigations and audits with confidentiality and professionalism.

    Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
    • Proven HR management experience with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience with employment law in multiple states.
    Working Conditions:
    • Distribution center setting with some exposure to equipment and noise.
    • Occasional work near moving mechanical parts.
    • Availability via computer, video conferencing, and phone during business hours.
    • Flexibility to work outside core hours based on business needs.
    • Up to 10% travel may be required.
    Physical Abilities:
    • Primarily sedentary with some walking, standing, bending, and occasional lifting.
    • Ability to hear and speak on the telephone.
    • Close visual work on a computer terminal.
    Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
