Description
JOB DESCRIPTIONDescription:
Person will prep, test and log samples. Will perform analysis of samples using wet chemistry, metallurgical testing, along with various other chemical tests on metals.
-Metallurgical lab experience (tensile test, polishing, hardness, sample saw)
-QC / QA work experience including part inspection and generation of Certificate of Analysis.
-Calibration of micrometers, calipers and conductivity meters
-Material sampling (drums and bags; uses a thief, riffle, ring and puck mill)
-Oracle database experience
-LIMS experience
Skills:
chemistry, quality control, qc, Wet chemistry, Laboratory, qc testing, chemical, analysis
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science (Chemistry highly preferred) + work experience
