The Estimating Coordinator Position

The Estimating Coordinator ensures accurate and efficient numbers for Toebe's estimating team for a variety of projects throughout the State of Michigan.

The position handles bid schedules, timing for bids to occur, action items upon being awarded a bid, and exporting bid information into the appropriate software system.

The role is multi-dimensional, fast-paced and requires accuracy and efficient work on multiple projects at a time.

The Estimating Coordinator plays a pivotal function in connecting the construction operations to finance, by providing subcontracts and purchase orders, supplier lists, and facilitating project meetings.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Estimating Coordinator

• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relative work experience is required.
• Previous experience in Construction is required, with experience in specialty subcontracting highly preferred.
• Have a unique ability to dive into details but also have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
