Palliative Medicine Physician, LIJ Forest Hills Hospital
Northwell Health's Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine is seeking Palliative Medicine Physicians for its inpatient consult service at LIJ Forest Hills Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized division. The ideal candidate should be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine, or both Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Medicine and have an interest in delivering hospital-based patient care. Our interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers provide high quality clinical care to older adults and those with serious and advanced illness. Highlights include academic and research opportunities, exposure to a variety of patient demographics, and professional growth opportunities.
Long Island Jewish Forest Hills is a 312-bed community teaching hospital that provides inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care, and women's health services. The hospital is designated as a Level II Perinatal Center. Our Emergency Department is a 911 receiving site, a certified heart station, as well as a New York state-designated Stroke Center. We also offer a well-regarded medical residency education program and a podiatry residency education program.
