    Assistant Varsity Football Coach School Year

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Excellent leadership qualities.
    2. Passion for developing youth both athletically and holistically.
    3. Experience supervising others is desired.
    4. Experience with coaching is desired.
    5. Previous experience coaching football at high school or college level.
    6. Must satisfactorily pass:
      1. Law enforcement background check with fingerprinting,
      2. Personal and business reference background check.
    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    1. Help athletes develop values and morals.
    2. Must teach fundamentals of the sport.
    3. See and analyze athletes' abilities and mistakes.
    4. Provide instruction to correct mistakes that hinder athletic development.
    5. Work with other coaches to develop the program.
    6. Stimulate sportsmanship.
    7. Develop good team spirit.
    8. Develop leadership characteristics.
    9. Instill self-confidence in athletes.
    10. Adequately communicate with parents, players, and Athletic Director when necessary.

    COMPENSATION: The Assistant Football Coach will be paid in accordance with the CEA contract "Appendix B."
