Tarvos Talent is seeking a Lead Security Engineer for a client located in North Austin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company that values cultivating professional development.

This role is pivotal in maintaining the security of our IT environment. You'll conduct security reviews, advise on IT architecture, and utilize AWS tools for threat mitigation.

Your responsibilities include identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, coordinating incident responses, and developing security awareness training. You'll also prepare compliance reports, update security policies, and collaborate with teams to integrate security into software and infrastructure design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, with expertise in policy development and compliance.
• Experience with AWS is a must have
• Knowledge of information security principles and technologies.
• Proficiency in managing security infrastructures and incident responses.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Leadership experience and ability to foster team growth.
• Ability to apply regulatory documents and compliance standards to practical security measures.

• $120k to $135k plus bonus
