- Data entry and file maintenance.
- Responsible for maintenance of confidential HR files and personnel action forms.
- Greets applicants, managers and others visiting the department directing them to the appropriate staff member.
- Answers the telephone, makes necessary appointments as appropriate and distributes the daily mail.
- Coordinates and completes the caregiver fingerprint process efficiently and reports timely to the appropriate reporting agency.
- Monitors and maintains GRMC's Caregiver driving requirements database.
- Assigns caregiver ID Badges and monitors the system (maintenance of the badge system)
- Assists with the on-boarding and off-boarding process
- Maintains the organization's performance evaluation process
- Assists in the interpretation of HR Policies and Procedures when appropriate.
- Orders and maintains departmental supplies i.e. office supplies, adequate stock of HR Forms and other departmental items.
- Provides assistance to management and the HR Staff and others on special projects as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Director/HR Manager.
- High School Diploma/GED. College coursework preferred.
- Proficient typing and computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills in dealing with management, staff and the public.
- Minimum of three (3) years office/secretarial experience with public contact (human resource administration experience preferred.
