    APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple Sonographer/ Ultrasound for our client in Atlanta, Georgia, for a 13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.

    Position Title: Ultrasound Technologist

    Pay Rate: $50 Hourly

    Work Location: Atlanta, Georgia

    Shift: Day 5x8-Hour

    Hours/day: 8 Hours

    Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

    Licenses Requirement: ARDMS .

    Certification Requirement: BLS

    The roles and responsibilities of an Ultrasound Tech specializing in Maternal Fetal care typically include:
    1. Performing Ultrasound Examinations : Conducting ultrasound scans on pregnant women to assess fetal development, monitor the health of the fetus, and identify any potential complications.
    2. Interpreting Images : Analyzing ultrasound images to accurately assess fetal growth, detect abnormalities, and provide diagnostic information to healthcare providers.
    3. Ensuring Patient Comfort and Safety : Positioning pregnant patients comfortably during ultrasound examinations and adhering to safety protocols to minimize risks to both the mother and fetus.
    4. Collaborating with Healthcare Providers : Working closely with obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, discuss findings, and formulate treatment plans.
    5. Educating Patients : Providing explanations of ultrasound procedures, answering questions, and offering support and reassurance to expectant mothers and their families.
    6. Maintaining Equipment and Records : Ensuring that ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and accurately documenting examination findings and patient information in medical records.
    7. Staying Updated on Advances in Technology and Practice : Continuing education to stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technology, imaging techniques, and best practices in maternal fetal medicine.
    8. Adhering to Ethical and Legal Standards : Upholding ethical standards of practice, maintaining patient confidentiality, and complying with relevant laws and regulations governing healthcare delivery and medical imaging.
    9. Emergency Response : Being prepared to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations, such as identifying fetal distress during ultrasound examinations and alerting healthcare providers for immediate intervention.
    10. Quality Assurance : Participating in quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of ultrasound examinations and contributing to the improvement of patient care processes.
