Job DetailsJob LocationAdvanced Diagnostics Dallas Hospital ClinicsThis position communicates and collaborates with the physicians and the interprofessional health care team to facilitate, coordinate and maintain compassionate, efficient, quality care and achievement of desired treatment outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will be proficient in the provision and coordination of patient centered care.RNs assess and evaluate patient conditions, plan, implement, provide, and document patient care that follows professional nursing standards and outlined practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRegistered NurseCollaborates with, directs, and may delegate to the healthcare team in the attainment of positive outcomes based on data, research, evidence, and professional standards of care.
Coordinates treatment plans; develops/implements discharge and/or transfer plans.Considers the diverse needs of each patient through the entire continuum of care, providing and ensuring the highest level of service according to established service standards, optimizing the patient experience.
Adheres to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.Performs other duties as assigned, within scope of practice and clinical competency.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTSMinimum (2) years' experience as RN in a hospital / acute care environment1 year of Emergency Care experience at a Trauma Level 1 or 2 facility Texas RN license Compact license acceptable according to current Board of Nursing requirements.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Current ACLS and PALS requiredAny other required certifications pertinent to unitEDUCATIONBSN ADN(Graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing as Registered Nurse/RN or Associate Degree in Nursing)CERTIFICATION, LICENSURETexas RN licenseKNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIESAbility to collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging.
