Job summary

The Sous Chef is responsible for ensuring that all meals coming from the kitchen are well prepared with regard to quality consistency eye appeal taste and food cost. He/she must provide training for all staff meet corporate quality standards assist in establishing and enforcing food specifications portion control recipes sanitation controlling food labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other F&B managers keep them informed of F&B issues as they arise.
  • Oversight supervision approval all preparations quality portions specifications presentations all food produced including outlets room service rooftop bars.
  • Staff schedule areas food production ensure labor costs budget-driven meeting expectations service standards working closely Director F&B Executive Chef purchasing all needed operate Viceroy Hotel Group standards.
