Job Summary:
The Center Associate at The UPS Store #2825 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a part-time, hourly customer service position.

As an individual contributor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers at the store.

Your main responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and managing various store tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Compensation & Benefits:
This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $11, paid biweekly. In addition, you will have access to employee discounts, on-the-job training, and opportunities for advancement within our organization.


Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly and courteous attitude
• Provide customers with information and assistance with product and service inquiries
• Process inbound and outbound packages and mail
• Create shipping labels, packaging materials, and process payments
• Assist with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing services
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Manage inventory and stock shelves as needed
• Use pointofsale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
• Complete other tasks and duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in retail, customer service, or related field preferred
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Physically able to lift and move packages up to 50lbs
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
