    Who we are:

    At California Dental Group, our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of youth and adults by offering the highest-quality dental care in a private office atmosphere. This philosophy comes from our CEO, Dr. Kamran Sahabi, a leading general and cosmetic dentist . We currently operate 10 Offices all around Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside County.

    About the Registered Dental Hygienist Position:

    Our Eagle Rock Office is looking for a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist . As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with our patients. You should have in-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies.

    Schedule:

    Part-time: Two Sundays per month. We can be flexible.

    Pay:

    $50-$60 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

    Benefits:

    We offer Sick Pay and Dental Discounts as a benefit to our part-time employees.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
    • Sterilize dental instruments properly
    • Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
    • Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
    • Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
    • Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
    • Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
    • Take X-rays or dental impressions
    • Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
    • Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
    • Monitor supplies
