Job summary
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Governance Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting both governance functions and all undergraduate student service functions in the College.This position provides support to the Governance Awards and Orientation Coordinator by assisting with coordination of faculty governance curriculum management and College awards for faculty students.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates workflow throughout academic year for high volume new programs program changes new courses course changes course de-activations
- Maintains inactive course list reports de-activation requests to University Registrar derives catalog workflows initiates distribution responds training on CIM CAT system
- Assists administration award competitions including faculty staff student awards prepares distributes notifications maintains records promotes award winners updates website content facilitates curricular academic policy committees schedules meetings coordinates logistics maintains relevant website content covers front office reception assists detailed complex questions processes information determines referrals responses phone messages walk-in email services exercises independent judgment ensures critical duties covered.
