Summary Objective

Under general supervision, responsible for performing professional-level engineering work and construction management work of considerable difficulty involving a wide variety of municipal public works and utilities operations projects, including the supervision of a major work group.

Both directly and through subordinate engineering and utilities personnel and engineering consultants, the employee plans, directs, supervises and coordinates the construction of municipal engineering projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in civil engineering, construction management, project management, or closely related field (Education will be verified), and five (5) years' experience

in one or more of the following areas: planning, designing and construction of public works projects; planning, designing and construction of utility projects; planning, designing and construction of private development projects; design/construction experience in municipal capital improvement projects;

or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
