Our client is a leading global financial services organization operating at the center of the global financial system and influencing nearly 20% of the world's investible assets.
We are seeking a Cryptography PKI Engineer to join the Cybersecurity team and support enterprise-wide Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and support enterprise-wide Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions
Partner with cross-functional teams to define certificate use cases and requirements
Integrate digital certificates into the Certificate Lifecycle Management platform
Develop architecture documentation, system build guides, procedures, and knowledge articles
Respond to requests from internal users, Internal Audit, and Federal Regulators related to PKI
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
5+ years of large-scale enterprise PKI experience
Technical Expertise
Hands-on experience with:
Certificate Lifecycle Management platforms, including Venafi
Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and Key Management Systems (KMS)
Cloud-based PKI solutions
Programming and scripting in support of PKI operations
Automation of certificate requests and lifecycle processes
Strong knowledge of:
Cryptographic algorithms and key management
Secure protocols and digital certificates
Quantum Computing and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards including GDPR, DORA, NIST, and ISO 27001
Preferred Certifications
CISSP
Venafi Security Administrator
Core Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
