Description

Sterling is currently looking to fill a direct hire a Materials Manager for a manufacturing client in the Duquesne area.

Job Details:
Direct hire
$26 per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintaining carrier contracts, rates, and proper insurance as required.
Always working to meet customer requests
Communicate regularly with customers, carriers, sales, IT, and Production
Build truck and/or rail loads as required.
Utilize Princeton TMS to dispatch loads to carriers.
Ability to handle many tasks at a fast pace under pressure
Ability to learn systems, carriers, and customer requirements
Ability to effectively interact with all departments and people involved
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Positive attitude
Organizational skills including problem-solving and prioritization
Strong computer application skills

Education and Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Team oriented
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work with suppliers and interface with all departments internally
Computer skills including Excel, Word, and report writing tools
