    The Human Resources Business Partner will provide day-to-day HR support to team members and regional leaders. The successful candidate will implement company HR best practices while being a resource to business leaders across the geography. A can-do attitude and human resource expertise in recruiting, onboarding, HRIS maintenance, disciplinary, benefits, employee support, performance management, compliance, and compensation processes will be critical for success.

    SKILLS & CRITICAL TASKS:

    • Highly organized, able to plan process improvement plans and monitor adherence to company-defined requirements.
    • Knowledge and experience in workman's compensation, background checks and drug testing programs, payroll, benefits, and other company-wide human resources activities.
    • Effective oral and written communication.
    • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
    • Practice a high level of confidentiality and data protection.
    • Demonstrates ability to prioritize work.
    • A team player who takes initiative, strives for continuous improvement, thinks and acts independently, challenges positively, and can counsel and advise employees and managers.
    • Must have strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced skills in Excel.
    • Familiarity and experience with Paylocity or other HRIS/payroll systems.
    • Offer guidance and support on HR matters, including performance management, internal promotions, recruiting, benefits, etc.
    • Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations.
    • Ensure timely response to data inquiries such as unemployment claims, employment verification, etc.
    • Must become an expert on all company HR policies and practices.
    • Maintain knowledge of governmental reporting requirements and regulations affecting human resources.
    • Assist with developing and continuously improving Human Resources policies and employee relations.
    • Advise and counsel Field Leaders on HR practices, including disciplinary actions, worker's compensation, and terminations.
    • Provide support delivering presentations on HR topics as needed.
    • Assist with payroll and benefits inquiries.
    • All other duties assigned.
    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Minimum five years experience in an HR Generalist role.
    • An associate's degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
    • Oilfield or industrial experience preferred.
    • Spanish language skills required.
    • PHR Certification or higher is a plus.
    • A clean driving record and the ability to provide proof of the right to work in the United States are required.
