    Job title: Customs and Border Protection Officer

    About This Role:


    This Customs and Border Protection (CBP) role involves working in various environments such as airports, seaports or land border crossings. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting people entering or leaving the country along with ensuring goods comply with regulations.

    Duties & Responsibilities:


    The main duties you'll be expected to perform involve conducting thorough inspections of individuals traveling across international borders. In doing so,you'll not only identify any issues but also help facilitate legitimate trade while ensuring compliance with customs laws.

    You may occasionally need to use coercive methods when investigating violations including using force if required–though this would usually require additional training outside regular duties . Ultimately ,your success depends upon effective communication skills combined strong attention detail!

    A Day In The Life Of A CBPO: Some examples tasks during daily routine might include:​
    * Seizing contraband items that do not meet applicable guidelines;​ *Denying entry into U.S due lack sufficient evidence supporting permission request,
    * Conduct safety checks around each facility visited etc...
