About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its organization and support the needs of farmers' markets statewide. The successful candidate will serve as the chief administrator, overseeing the execution and implementation of various association services, including finance, fundraising, and staff and board management. This role is pivotal in maintaining the internal and external communication links between members, staff, and other organizations. Initially, the focus will be on internal responsibilities, with a gradual shift towards external duties such as coalition building, partnership development, and promoting the value of farmers' markets in the local food system.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be prepared to work in a trust-based, flexible environment and be committed to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. The role requires a candidate who can effectively manage the organization's operations, while also being a key advocate for the values and services of the association.
