    Senior Tax Accountant

    We are partnering with a manufacturing company in the Triangle in search of a

    Senior Tax Accountant


    to join their finance team The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible to wear many hats and assist with all aspects of the Company's tax compliance, planning, and reporting.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for the company and its subsidiaries
    Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including researching and interpreting tax laws

    Assist in the management and monitoring of intercompany transfer pricing policy, including analysis of transactions, maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and managing advisors.

    Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions
    Prepare estimated tax calculations and ensure all payments are made timely.
    Assist with income and non-income tax matters (i.e. sales and use taxes, property taxes, etc.)
    Prepare and review analyses and memos supporting FIN 48 computations.
    Coordinate and manage tax audits and inquiries
    Stay current on tax law changes and developments


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    CPA preferred
    5+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a blend of public accounting and industry tax
    Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Candidates must live in the Raleigh/Durham area and expected to go onsite 3 days a week.
