The Senior System Engineer will be apart of a growing Managed Service Provider firm.

The Senior System Engineer (Hybrid WFH) must have 3-5+ years of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and the cloud.

Senior System Engineer (Hybrid WFH) must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions.

This resource will work and support projects supporting Windows Server (AD, GPO) environments, migrate O365 and communicate technical solutions and services for the small-to-midsize business market.

The Senior System Engineer (Hybrid WFH) will also be considered one of the team's senior members and will be responsible for fielding complex high-level escalations and projects.

Take charge of project scoping, meeting with clients, and pitching innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
Showcase your expertise by completing network assessments and providing valuable insights for optimization.
Design, configure, and deploy firewalls, including rule creation, VPN setup, and firewall optimization. – Implement and maintain virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V, and provide troubleshooting and support.
Lead and execute M365 migrations, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to client workflows.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical proposals, ensuring accurate estimations for project timelines and resource requirements.
Provide exceptional project documentation, including scope of work, project plans, and technical reports.
3+ years of proven experience as a Project Engineer within an MSP or similar environment.
Strong expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, including rule creation, VPN setup, and firewall optimization.
Proficiency in virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Demonstrated experience leading and executing M365 migrations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, VCP, MCSE) are highly desirable.
